Also since the abuse is implied children may not understand and will probably ask questions. We later hear that at ten years old, she was taken prisoner on a boat for many years and it is heavily applied that she is sexually abused. The rape is not explicit but is very disturbing. This shot switches back and forth between her parents and the little girls tear stricken face as she watches. We see a flashback of the female antagonists past in which her mother is raped and her father is killed.

One of the first scenes in the movie has a naked woman being taken prisoner and her breasts are clearly shown for a few seconds as she is dragged away. Not only is this sex scene explicit but children who are confused by its violence will most likely ask questions that may be very awkward to answer. As he is being taken away, he covers his naked groin with a cloth and nothing is seen, yet the female character is nude from the waist up with her hair only partially obscuring her breasts. In the end, the male character denies joining the woman's side and she pulls a sword on him. Later into the scene the female character's top is torn off, exposing her breasts which are shown up close as they are fondled by the male protagonist. It plays almost like a fight sequence, yet has obvious characteristics of a sex scene such as the VERY load moaning and thrusting. To adults it is obvious that its a sex scene but a younger audience may not understand why both characters seem intent on hurting one another, throwing each other around the room and grabbing throats/pulling hair.

The scene starts off slowly with some sensual whispers and moves into hair pulling and then into full on throat grabbing and thrusting. The discussion of war does not last long and it is clear to the adult audience what she is after. About an hour into the movie the main protagonist is invited to meet and discuss war with his enemy the main female antagonist. Sex/Nudity- (16+) Parents should know that the sex scene is not the same gentle love-making between husband and wife that was shown in the first 300 movie. As long as your children can stomach the blood AND recognize that in real life violence is not as it is portrayed then it shouldn't be an issue. This movie glorifies violence and battle in a way that can be unhealthy for an immature mind.

Violence (12+)- Obviously as this is the companion movie to "300" it features the same stylized bloody violence as its predecessor.
